Petra is a strategy consultant since 2012, and worked with 4Sing GmbH since 2013. She has been involved in many dozens of projects including scenarios and strategies for a multinational corporations in Europe, America and Asia, training staff of client organisations on the Parmenides Eidos™ tools, and has helped to run many GIZ and World Bank peer-to-peer knowledge sharing sessions. She has a broad experience of foresight work, has co-created gaming material for resilience-testing of organisations, and has developed new formats of reports for meetings (e.g. in an e-book and multi-media format). Previously, Petra has held a number of different posts, covering over three and half years of employment, both as expert consultant and intern between and during her studies. 2013 Petra she wasIn parallel to working for 4Sing employed part-time by the World Bank for some months to work on a multi-modal transport project. Moreover, she has previously worked as an intern and short-term consultant with the GIZ in Da Nang, Vietnam (2011-2012) on making the town an “eco-city". Also, she held a number of posts in Hamburg (2010-11) dealing with stakeholder participation in territorial planning projects, including citizens’ involvement e.g. with Next Hamburg, Urbanista, Luchterhandt, the International Building Exhibition (IBA) and STATTBAU Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH.
As an innovation expert, Gisela Zweck facilitates projects and workshops for customers of various industries. The tasks range from product and service innovation to business model innovation and the development of concepts for digital transformation, as well as the development of innovation strategies across various industries. As founder and managing director of Magnify Innovation, she is also responsible for the commercial and legal affairs of the company. She completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and studied law and business administration. She also holds certificates as project manager and innovation manager. Before founding Magnify Innovation, she held various management positions at Siemens Business Services and a medium-sized IT company. Gisela Zweck was a project manager with national and international responsibility for IT projects and IT services within Siemens Business Services. She developed training concepts in contract, claim and risk management and conducted numerous training courses. She was also a member of the certification committee for project managers. In addition, she teaches innovation management in training courses at TÜV SÜD Akademie and is a voluntary examiner for commercial and IT professions for the Munich and Upper Bavaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Dr Tobias Adam is responsible for the development of new service offerings and the implementation of projects with our customers. After completing his training as industrial management assistant, he studied commercial information technology at the TU-Darmstadt and earned his doctorate at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management at the RWTH Aachen. A supplementary specialization in Business Management International at Cornell University and certification as an SAP consultant for business intelligence and project manager complement his profile. Prior to founding Magnify Innovation, he held various management positions in the IT and lighting industries and worked in the USA, APAC and the Middle East. In recent years, Dr Tobias Adam has carried out innovation projects in industries like oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, aviation and manufacturing. As a lecturer at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and teaches Innovation Management as part of the module “Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Technology Management (EITM)“. Furthermore he teaches as Strategic Corporate Management and Business Intelligence at the FOM Munich.
Dr. Steve Else, Ph.D., specializes in business transformation, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience to help myriad organizations for over 25 years plan wholesale change. Working with the C-Suite, he has assessed business models and architecture landscapes through workshops he has designed and conducted. He has used Business Scenarios and Design Thinking extensively in his such work around the world for large, complex organizations in the public and private sector, as well as for non-profits and top notch academic institutions. Formerly a career U.S. Air Force pilot, professor, attache, and high-level staff officer in the Pentagon, he is also the author of both Organization Theory and Transformation of Large, Complex Organizations (2005) and The Customer-Centric Architecture Method: Pathway to High Value Enterprise Architecture (2019), as well as numerous articles related to strategic business planning. He is a highly sought after consultant, mentor, and trainer related to maturing Business-IT Alignment and is expert in numerous planning and modeling tool suites. Dr. Else has also earned his Airline Transport Rating in the Lear Jet. He worked professionally in both French and German in the 1990s in France and Germany, respectively, and still maintains some fluency in both languages, particularly for reading, listening, and conversations. He loves to participate in world-class conferences (often as a keynote speaker), travel, hike in postcard beautiful mountain settings, and play golf on challenging courses around the world..
Adrian Taylor runs ForeSight to Strategy for Security and Sustainability IN Governance GmbH, a boutique consultancy firm that helps both public and private sector clients to use foresight methods to formulate robust strategy options. As a consultant he and his colleagues help clients develop their own in-house foresight to strategy capacities as well as well running strategy processes for clients. He has two decades of experience in using the Parmenides Eidos software to enhance to anticipate future changes in the world outside and craft tailor-made strategies. In the course of his work he has had occasion to run projects in over 40 countries of the world, and does so in English, French, Spanish and German. He has previously been a junior officer in the British Army, a lobbyist on EU matters, a scenario planner in a joint venture with Global Business Network, Desk Officer for India at the European Commission and a visiting scholar at Georgia Tech.
His education includes 1st Class Honours Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics Trinity College Oxford, and a Licence Spéciale (Masters) in European Studies with “Grande Distinction” from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Adrian was born and raised in London, England, and has subsequently spent over 30 years living elsewhere, notably Gibraltar, Brussels, Atlanta, Zurich, New York, and Munich. He, his wife and three children currently reside in Hamburg.
