Basic Research on Complex Thinking

Parmenides Foundation was established in 2001 in close cooperation with Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU), Munich as a non-profit organization. Parmenides Foundation is the first institution to bring together a broad variety of disciplines all devoted to the study of thinking. It therefore brought complex thinking back on the research agenda.

By applying the findings from basic research in education, business and institutions, the Parmenides Foundation is aiming at advancing thinking skills, well-structured and informed decision making processes and with this better problem solving. The threefold focus of the Parmenides Foundation is represented in its 3 pillars: Research, Education, Application.
