The Strategy Map is part of the Balanced Scorecard Performance Management tool ecosystem. See also:

There is no standardized approach on how to apply the Strategy Map, but the aim is to collect a few objectives and to visualize how to support those objectives from different perspectives.

EIDOS provides this template for the sake of completeness to support common management tools. It is recommended to instead evaluate strategies through the application of the Goal Assessment tool. After feeding in the structure to the Goal Assessment tool, a Balanced Scoremap can be generated by a single click.

The Implementation Planning module contains a powerful set of tools for project management and the identification of critical paths. However, it might also be helpful in an early phase of a project to draft a project plan.
Projects are usually the result of a strategy development process and thus it could be helpful to remain in the same environment to consider what might be, for example, the most important tasks and milestones.

The Situation Analysis tool is ideal to capture initial ideas from which an overview could be generated. Additional value can be further gained by linking tasks and considering the duration of each task. This information could then be easily transferred to a specific Project Management Tool.

A stakeholder analysis is supported with two different approaches. One supports the identification of individuals or groups that are likely to affect or be affected by a project or action.

The second approach is to rate the association between pairs of elements using correlation factors. The visual representation may make clear the potential frictions and synergies inherent in a group setting.

Strength and Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats According to Wikipedia, a “SWOT analysis (alternatively SWOT Matrix) is a structured planning method to analyze the internal and external situation in a project or in a business venture… [It can also be carried out for a product, place, industry or person].

It is helpful in combination with a goal assessment that involves specifying the objective of a business venture or project and identifying the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable to achieving that objective.”

An EIDOS background for the SWOT analysis can provide additional meaning and value to a traditional SWOT matrix by providing an enhanced visualization which communicates the impacts of the opportunities and threats in relation to the strengths and weaknesses.

Porter’s Five Forces analysis is a framework to analyze the level of competition within an industry linked to business strategy development. It draws upon industrial organization (IO) economics to derive five forces that determine the competitive intensity and therefore the potential attractiveness of a particular market. Attractiveness in this context refers to the overall industry profitability.
An "unattractive" industry is one in which the combination of these five forces acts to drive down overall profitability. A very unattractive industry would be one approaching "pure competition", in which available profits for all firms are driven to normal profit.

EIDOS allows for the rapid analysis of the factors related to Porter's Five Forces while providing the Snapshots feature to document the derived findings, insights and comments. An idea list of threats and influencing factors adds additional value and can be used either as a quick-start or to cross-check own results for completeness.
